Killing a UTI: Phase III

If you’ve done everything outlined in Phases I and II and you still have trace leukocyte test results you can’t seem to shake, the best course of action is to increase your raw garlic intake.
I know, not what anyone wants to hear, right? But, it works, and you only have to do it for 3 days. Increase by one clove per meal throughout the day, while still doing everything you’ve been doing, then get a good grip on your courage and take 3 good-sized cloves before bed. No cheating with those skinny little inner cloves, now. I can see you. Ò_Ó

Y’all will be delighted to hear that ‘more garlic’ is Old and Busted, and ‘oregano oil’ is New Hotness!

I’m leaving the info on garlic in here, and adding the oregano oil info. I discovered that, once your gut is cleansed with charcoal, oregano oil is quite effective against an enfeebled UTI. I used the Vitacost brand oregano oil in the 2 oz bottle with a dropper, and filled empty capsules with it, taking 2-3 of them 4x a day, along with OLE. Vitacost is out of stock on it right now, strangely, but if you think this is what you need, Nature’s Way is a brand I trust. Try two of them each time you take OLE, and follow the same protocol as the garlic, in that you keep taking it for a few days after the first clear test, then taper down. It’s easier to take than the garlic, and just as effective.

Make sure you have something in your stomach first, and drink a glass of baking soda water. Since you should be cleared of intestinal Candida by this time, your system will be much more tolerant of garlic.
After I killed mine, I found I could take raw garlic on an empty stomach and feel fine, when I’d only just tolerated it on a full one, before. Don’t get curious and try that yet, though: that’s Grand Master-level stuff, right there. After you’re fully Candida and UTI-free, THEN you can attempt to snatch the pebble from my hand, but don’t fool around while you’re still pathogen-slaying.

Expect to have bowel movements that strongly resemble sludge: that’s every nasty thing you never knew was in your liver. Wave goodbye.
Your trace leukocytes will be gone in the morning, but do not let up. Body slam that thing again, and then one more full day, then start tapering down on everything, leaving the bedtime dose in there till the last, because overnight is when you need it most.

Congratulations. You are now a stone cold bada** antibiotic-resistant UTI slayer.

    Hi Bekah, to make a long story short, I’m on phase 3 after doing the boot camp. I am feeling so much better, but having to drink baking soda water all day long to keep burning away. I have a tendency to constipation which is why I chose to do the laxative charcoal cleanse and worry if I take anymore I will get blocked. Anyway, I did the probiotics and coconut oil treatment for the 3rd time along with the charcoal last night, got up, washed everything, and took a test strip and got VERY positive results. Almost immediate nit and strong leu. Hoping this is just because charcoal is drawing it out? Still on 4xOLE and 4x PD and 2x OO And even doing a few more OO with some meals. I’m worried that this infection has buried itself in my kidneys as I always feel weirdness there and at the height of this infection a few weeks ago (symptoms going on for over 3 weeks now, a course of antibiotics in the middle) my kidney pain was really bad. That was on day 6 of antibiotics. This uti happened about a month after taking antibiotics for the first one I ever had, and they worked fine. Wondering if it never fully went away and this one is an extension of that one? I’ve been doing horseradish instead of garlic with meals for 5 days after almost vomiting after a dose of garlic. Been following the strict diet and taking l glutamine and probiotics too. Please help.

        No I used to a couple years ago when I was Healing SIBO and chronic constipation. I took HCL for a while and magnesium off and on since then for digestion. But no heartburn for a few years since. I knew my diet was going back in a bad direction but since my gut felt so much better after the charcoal cleanse I thought the uti would be slowly going away. I took a test strip a couple days ago and it was no nit, very little leu so thought I was on the right track.

          Okay, I asked about heartburn and bloating because you’re highly likely to have low stomach acid, so low that you aren’t able to absorb nutrients or meds, natural or prescription. A classic sign of low stomach acid is heartburn, contrary to popular wisdom.
          Do you burp shortly after drinking the soda water?
          If not, your acid is low.
          The fastest way to correct this and boost your supplements is to take 1.5 oz of pure lemon juice every time you eat/take meds. Just toss it back straight, like a shot, mid-meal.
          Charcoal cleansing is a massive positive step in gut health, but if your body isn’t producing enough acid Candida easily takes over your gut again.
          Google “low stomach acid symptoms” and see how many you have. That would explain why you’ve plateaued, and addressing it will get you started again.

              I would start with the lemon juice shots and then do a big dose of charcoal (2 tsp) when your gut starts moving fast. (The lemon juice generally does that in 24-36 hours)
              Your symptoms and test results should improve as soon as you start the lemon shots, and do you have a juicer, by any chance?

            Ok will do.I don’t have a juicer but I may look into it, as soon as I have the funds. Should I stop drinking the baking soda water to stop neutralizing any stomach acid? Can I take it sometimes to help with urethra burning?
            I feel like my body is a chemistry experiment with all this acid/alkaline back and forth, lol.
            I’ve seen that apple cider vinegar can help with stomach acid as well, and sometimes people have mixed it with baking soda in water for UTI’s. What are your thoughts on that?

              Lemon juice is the best for acidifying the stomach and should help with the burning: when you have low acid it causes fermentation in the gut and vinegar can exacerbate that in some cases.
              You can get a $30 centrifugal juicer at Wal-Mart or an $89 masticating one on Amazon. I got the latter and it works great.
              I asked because celery/lemon/ginger root is a superb blend for most types of UTI.

            Thank you for this! An update: Been taking lemon juice with everything for 8 full days, though it didn’t help my BMs to move faster, so I used Magnesium one day to help it along and did the charcoal dose 4 days ago. Still on 4xOLE and 4xPD 3 times a day with 2xOO with every dose AND every meal. I spiked my OLE and OO by one the last couple days. I have been less than diligent with the horseradish and cayenne the last few days, as I can’t always take everything to work with me. I still have bloating after eating still but not a lot, and am testing very trace LEU and my burning symptoms are completely gone, only a tingle here and there. Still here though are the kidney pangs- weird feelings, like pressure, not pain. When I’m physically tired or when I have to pee, I get kidney pressure before I get any kind of “gotta go” feeling. I’m wondering if this is normal? Is it just my kidneys processing all the herbs? Or should I do something else about it other than just wait it out?
            Another question- I had the heaviest period I’ve had in the last year this week. Is it related to all the clearing out I’ve been doing?

              You may be about to pee Candida: it looks like shreds/flakes of wet tissue paper and often causes a sensation of pressure in the kidneys/bladder shortly before exiting. There can also be a brief spike in leuks 12-24 hours before seeing the Candida.
              Peeing dead Candida is a sign that you had a good charcoal cleanse: the meds are getting into your bloodstream in larger quantities because they aren’t being used up in the gut anymore.

              Candida and estrogen have an “It’s complicated” relationship: thorough charcoal cleansing sorts that out and periods typically shorten and lighten afterward.
              Personally, I stopped having cramps and PMS and the bleeding wasn’t as heavy: part of that is due to OLE being an excellent chelator of unbound iron, which your body otherwise sheds via heavy bleeding.

              You’re taking a bedtime dose of meds, right?

            I have had *very* scant periods for the last year so this one was probably what most people would call a normal period. So I’m actually kind of relieved to have a more normal period because I feel like things are being cleared out of there too with the heavy flow.
            Yes I take a bedtime dose most days, but it is usually the two hour after dinner dose, as I don’t get started eating until later in the day. I was going to ask you about that too- is 12 hours too long without a dose? Most days when I work I wake up at 5 then I don’t eat until 8am and dose at 10, when my last dose the night before was at 10pm. When I don’t work I let myself sleep in and sometimes don’t eat until noon. So the last few of those days I took a dose with my ‘breakfast’ at noon, and then again at 2pm. Then meal around 4, dose at 6, meal at 7 or 8, dose at 10, etc. Should I take a dose when I wake up on those days even without eating? With my tendency to constipation my preferred routine is to wake up and drink warm water until i have a BM otherwise it doesn’t come out so completely. Then Reiki, then exercise, then food (a few hours later).
            Do you think I should switch back to garlic for awhile with meals?

            Hi again Bekah,
            So I’ve been finally feeling a little bit better every day, I even think the kidney pressure is getting better. I went back to garlic with meals and got a juicer! Have had celery/lemon/ginger juice 1x/day, 3 days in a row. Been also drinking lemon water all day, adding a drop of Thieves and Lemongrass essential oil to really nail any bacteria left. No candida in the pee that I can see, but the kidney feeling has been going on for way longer than 24 hours. I’m just wondering if my kidneys are ok? I’m not really wanting to get antibiotics if its still a kidney infection but also don’t want any damage to happen. OR is it because I’m maybe overloading them with all these supplements? I would love your opinion.
            Also, my UTI test strips that I have are turning a slight orange for the LEU, and when left out turns a darker orange. However the bottle says (and I emailed the company about it too) that light green is negative, beige to purple is positive. Have I been negative for the whole time I’ve been seeing orange? Have you ever experienced this?
            If I am negative, how long would you recommend until I can eat some starches and grains (and sugar, but thats the long run- in no hurry to get back to where I was before).
            Last question- is it ok to take a morning dose on an empty stomach of OLE/PD/OO? Many days when I don’t work early I don’t eat until around 12-14 hours past my bedtime dose. Thank you so much for your time. I really appreciate it.

              I would order 10 parameter test strips so you can monitor more things, like urine protein levels. (Indicator of kidney stress)
              I’ve only seen orange leuks in people taking AZO..what brand are the strips?

              Personally, I’m very leery of taking essential oils internally: if I were going to drop something it would be that.
              The PD and OO have some toxicity in large quantities over a prolonged period, but the OLE, juice, and lemon/soda water are good for the kidneys.

              I would go ahead and get the 10 parameter strips, and if at all possible I would switch up the regimen.

              6-8 oz celery/lemon/ginger juice every time you pee with 2 OLE capsules, and garlic or fresh horseradish with meals.

              That will keep up the UTI-killing and cleanse your kidneys at the same time.

            This will definitely be harder at work- is it ok to juice a bunch and take it with me? I know juicing is best when you drink it as soon as possible.

              Yes, juice enough to take with you and put a couple of big bottles in the fridge: it still works just fine!
              You definitely want to take acid with food until you start producing more of your own: in the meantime you should feel steady improvement in overall health and well-being.

                Hi Bekah, what a game changer! I feel like a person again with no kidney pain or pressure since stopping PD and OO. Slight sensitivity when peeing sometimes but I’m hoping that’s from the garlic? Don’t want to take any baking soda cause of the low stomach acid issue. Testing negative within the twno minutes but still turning orange later. I took a different brand today and same result but turned slightly purple after like 30 min. In your experience how long does it take to stop turning color ? Can I switch up my diet at this point or should I keep it strict until they show up and stay clear for 5 days?

                    Well Bekah, I’m not done yet apparently. I’d been testing negative for a few days, just like I said it was slightly purple after a while but nothing during the 2 minutes. So I slowly started adding back in foods that I was avoiding before (definitely had red meat and sugar for Christmas but not since then, but have had bell peppers, corn tortilla, nutritional yeast, etc). Still doing garlic but I tried to taper down on that as well as the OLE slowly, but maybe I tapered too fast. Two days this week I’ve had tests say trace LEU (not much but not negative).I do have the 10-panel test that you suggested. My protein was definitely up a week ago but now its normal. These same two days the leu was trace, my pH has been 6 and 6.5 so I’m guessing the foods and the acidity are the culprit because after that first trace LEU I bumped my OLE back up (from 6-12 per day with the juice combo) and had garlic at every meal again. I’ve been diligent about lemon with every meal and med, and I had some old HCL i’ve been taking until my new HCL I ordered gets here. I really don’t want to have to eat so restrictively forever, and my bf is back from a trip today and I would really like to engage in adult activities. I am at a loss again but feel like I am so so close to killing this thing. Please help. I never found out what kind of bacteria it was because I didn’t have insurance a month and a half ago when this first started. I do now, would you recommend I go to the doctor and have it tested so I know what angle to take?

                      Do you have any symptoms?

                      Remember that leuks are also a measure of inflammation, and some of those foods are quite inflammatory.

                      I had a bit of kidney pressure a few days ago (the day I took the least OLE) and some sensitivity when peeing the last few days. I just wrote it off as irritation from taking so much garlic? Should I switch back to horseradish if I can find it?
                      Happy to cut out those foods again, but how long should I continue before I try and taper back into normal eating again? and is it a bad idea to have sex still? I’m confused as to whether bacteria is still the problem.

    It’s not my third day on the Vitamin C and since yesterday I also have the Hcl. The symptoms continue to get better. I still have a slight discomfort in the urethrea but the burning (and spasms before peeing) are almost completely gone. Could it be that it was the Entero all along and it’s working? I’m hesitant whether to book another urologist or gyno appointment. Also how long would you suggest to stay on this dosage? A full week?

      A full week is a good idea!

      Since large doses of C kill both Entero and staph, it’s hard to tell exactly which one was causing the problem in the absence of definitive urine test results.
      Either way, you’re winning! Great work!
      I’d reassess in a week: it sounds like your problem was bacterial and you’ll be fine when you’re done killing it.
      Any residual discomfort would likely just be due to acidic urine from the C, which you can alkalize when you’re certain the bacteria is dead.

    I haven’t tried the estrogen cream, is it safe to just try without being sure about the diagnosis? I started with the 3×1000 Vitamin C per meal today and already feel a little better. However I also got my period so not sure whether that could be a connection.

      You need a prescription for estrogen cream, as a general rule. If the problem is hormonal a gyno will recognize it.
      They generally don’t catch sud-dermal staph till it gets pretty bad, since it doesn’t show up in a swab culture till then.

      It typically takes 36 hours to know for sure if staph is the issue: by then the pain relief is dramatic, if you’re dealing with staph.

      Yes, Enterococcus never produces nitrites but you should be seeing leukocytes, which makes me wonder if the source of your pain, currently, is really your bladder.

      If you press firmly on your bladder with your fingertips, is there any tenderness? How about if you jump up and down, any bladder distress signals?

          A thick glob of charcoal paste would pull bacteria out of the urethra…unless it were something like staph embedded under the surface of the tissue, in which case those high doses of ascorbic acid will kill it.

          Another possibility is a Skene’s gland infection (generally causes a lump next to the urethra, but not always), or possible hormonal imbalance: insufficient estrogen can cause burning of the lady parts tissue.
          Have you tried estrogen cream?

    Yes I read the article – so you suggest testing with the pills and then taking as many of them as would create indigestion?

    I do have test strips as well but they always came out clear. The only thing a little darker was the Specific Gravity.

      You increase until you feel a sort of burning sensation afterward (eat a little more or drink a bit of milk to make it stop), then drop down a capsule and that’s the right dosage for a meal that size.
      Take less for a snack or for a light meal with lots of veggies, obviously. You get a feel for it quickly.

      Clear test strips…even when you had that oily look to the urine and increased pain?

    Ok I will try everything, thank you. How long should I continue with all this? Meaning 4×4 OLE, Oregano oil, Vitamin C and HCL.

    Also, does the brand of the HCl matter a lot? I’m in Europe and the brand you recommend is not available but I found Swanson available to order.

      Do you have test strips on hand? Testing first thing in the morning after sleeping through the night is the goal: you want clear tests at the 5 minute mark for 3 days running before you taper down on the natural meds. Then decrease your doses a little every day for the following 5 days, and you’re good.
      Swanson is a good brand: mostly you want to be sure to-
      1. Adjust your dosage properly for your circumstances (you saw how to do that?)
      2. Take mid-meal, with natural meds.
      3. Be careful not to drink more water with meals than you need to get the pills down.

    Thank you a hundred times. I will add the proper Vitamin C into the mix. Should I continue with the OLE and Oregano Oil as outlined in the Phase III? I have tried Baking Soda and this may sound strange but I never burp (might miss the reflex?) so no burping afterwards.

      Okay, that means you have low stomach acid, meaning food and supplements don’t break down properly in your stomach and therefore aren’t absorbed properly from the gut, either. You end up with poor digestion, causing bloating, heartburn/indigestion, vitamin/mineral deficiencies, and medications, natural or prescription, don’t work like they should because they’re simply not getting into your bloodstream.

      The quickest way to address that when you have a potential Enterococcus infection is to take 3-4 grams of pure ascorbic acid with all your meals, and order HCL right away. (As long as you don’t have gastritis and don’t take NSAIDs regularly)

      Oh, and on the OLE/OO: your current doses will be far more effective once you’re taking the HCL and large doses of C with them, so yes, keep going!

    Hi Rebekah, I have been following all the protocols and am now going to Phase III. I have had an ongoing UTI for the past 5 months and only once tested positive for Enterococcus faecalis. I took 3 different antibiotic courses with no relief. The symptoms go up and down. I have a history with corticosteorid use and have gone through TSW (topical steroid withdrawal) and I read here it can take a part in this. So I took horseradish instead of garlic since Phase I. All of my responses to OLE and the candida killing goes as planned, have been experiencing the worst nausea and gas. My tests always came out clear, even as a first thing in the morning. My symptoms are constant burning, sometimes only when peeing sometimes all the time. The burning seems to have gotten worse since I started the Charcoal in Phase II along with 4×4 OLE. I will start Phase III tomorrow but please do you have any advice? Feel completely hopeless

      Your *only* symptom is burning?
      Have you used a wet charcoal paste over the urethra and surrounding area? Tried high doses (3+ grams each) of ascorbic acid Vitamin C?

        I tried the wet charcoal paste once but didn’t feel any change. It seems like my urethrea burns from the inside rather than outside, I also experience frequent urge to pee. Vitamin C actually seemed to make it worse. I have another appointment with the doctor this week cause at least I want to try to find out if the Enterococcus is still tested positive.

            First of all thank you so much for your response. I took 2-3 1000mg pills of Vitamin C (usually Jamieson). Is Vitamin C effective for Enterococcus? I also noticed that when the pain is higher my urine is kind of cloudy almost as it had oil stains inside.

              For Enterococcus it is *vital* that the C be pure ascorbic acid, no minerals, and you want to be sure to take a minimum of 2-3 grams per dose, 3-4x a day.
              It can metabolize smaller doses, but is killed by larger doses. Look at the label of yours to see if it has calcium, magnesium, or sodium in it. If so, toss it.

              Also, do NOT alkalize your urine: Entero likes (grows, feeds in) an alkaline environment. Check the Real Role of Vitamin C post for more info, and links.

              On a related but different note…have you ever taken pure baking soda water for this, and if so, did you burp right afterward?

    Here I am a week later looking at stage 3 which means oregano extract instead of garlic. I’m not sure my body is cleared out enough since I’m still showing positive on my test strips. I don’t ever get a true reading since I can’t ever go 4 hours without having to empty my bladder. Once I made it almost 3 hours but I’m beginning to hate the color pink and purple. The only thing that keeps me going right now is that is my only symptom is the constant peeing so live in the bathroom. I also live on this site which is my only hope. I keep reading over and over to make sure im covering all my bases but its hard not to wonder if I’ll never be healed. I took a week off to give it my best shot now I go back tomorrow. I wish I could tell them it did the trick. I tell myself it’s just gonna take longer and don’t give up. The thing is I have no choice I have to persevere or let it overtake me which is my biggest fear of extreme pain. I appreciate having this site which makes so much sense and how diligent Rebkah has been in keeping it here for anyone who needs it but It seems like I’m the only one here now. I’m still waiting to be accepted in the fb group since I desperately could use some support or advice and especially hear some success stories. I read a lot of comments like this and answers but I wish there was a page just for testimonials. If and when this heals me I know I will be so elated and greatful I would want to let everyone that comes here to know there’s hope. So for now I’ll keep up all my efforts since it has to work or else I need a miracle.

      Lori, it sounds like you need grated horseradish root, and if I were you I’d juice celery, ginger root, and lemon, and drink 8 oz of that between meals and at bedtime, taking your OLE dose with it and taking grated horseradish root and oregano oil with your meals.

      That will strip bacterial biofilms and destroy the most virulent UTI bacteria.
      Roughly 1 tsp of grated horseradish root per meal with 3 oregano oil capsules.
      For the juice, half a head of organic celery, a 2” cube of ginger root, and 1/2 a lemon per serving, with 3-4 OLE, between meals and at bedtime.

      If you wake in the night to pee, drink another glass of that juice with a dose of OLE before going back to sleep.
      You should be UTI-free within 3 days on that regimen.

        Thanks so much for responding. I do have a juicer but it’s not a masticating type. I’ve tried making the celery/lemon/ginger in it but I need to add water. Do you think that will be ok? If necessary I will purchase the other type. Whatever it takes. Since I’ll be doing that between meals does that mean I stop the charcoal or should I do that before I get up in the morning and implement the quick and dirty cleanse for the die off?

          The juice should be moving your gut fast enough that die-off is minimized and you won’t need the charcoal, except maybe one dose every other day.
          Any juicer (not blender) will work, but with a centrifugal juicer you have to make each batch of juice up fresh.
          If you have a blender you need to strain the pulp through a nut milk bag to get all the juice.

            Sorry to bother you once again, im at a loss. I went right out and got a juicer, even took it to work so i wouldnt miss .taking the juice. I followed this precisely for 3 and a half days. Still no change. In the middle of the night i had crazy diarrhea and was hoping that meant something. It was a gooey mustard color, could that have been biofilm?I was so hoping the horseradish would be the clincher. Do I need to continue this longer? I guess I just need to know what I should do next, i wont be able to do boot camp till I can get dmore time off which won’t be till Jan. In the mean time how do i keep this thing from getting worse? My fear is that I have a really strong bacteria and if I dont get it first it’s gonna overpower me. Its a nightmare.

              Slimy yellow means the horseradish cleansed your gallbladder..a fun side effect but not particularly useful at the moment.
              You’re taking a shot of pure lemon juice with your meals and horseradish? The horseradish root is firm and smells pungent when grated? You’re taking a scant 1 tsp or so 3-4x a day?
              Drinking celery/ginger/lemon juice if you wake up in the night to pee?

      Oh, and about taking horseradish: use a medium-fine grater (it’ll look like wet sawdust), pinch the mass together, and swallow it like a pill, with a mouthful of milk, half-way through your meal.
      All of those things are imperative. The root won’t grate properly if you use the wrong grater (too fine or too coarse), you’ll gag if the grated root isn’t buffered with milk, and you’ll vomit if there isn’t food in your stomach first.
      Horseradish is full of potent mustard oils, making it a natural emetic as well as a destroyer of biofilms and bacteria.

          Do you test first thing in the morning, and what do they show? You see nitrites after you’ve slept 4+ hours?

          For horseradish to not affect gram negative bacteria, it has to either not be fresh, or not be absorbed fully into the bloodstream. If the root is firm and pungent, malabsorption is the culprit, and the cause of that is low stomach acid. The remedy is lemon juice or HCL capsules with your meals/horseradish. Celery/ginger/lemon juice does correct low stomach acid over time, but if that’s your root problem you want to take the short cut and also use pure lemon juice or HCL every time you eat and take meds to ensure that they get into your bloodstream.

            I think you’re right about the malabsorbtion since I do have digestive issues which is why I took digestive enzymes along with this. So I’ll do the lemon shots at each meal. Then I’ll get some hal. Should I still need to do the celery,lem,ginger between meals? If so,how long. Im pretty sure the ginger is fresh.

              The ginger should be very firm and plump, and juicy when you slice it. It’s much wetter than horseradish root, which should grate up like very damp sawdust and be eye-wateringly pungent.
              Shoot for about 1.5 oz of straight lemon juice (concentrate out of a bottle works just fine) with meals/horseradish, and be careful not to drink any water within 30 minutes before eating, and for 45-60 minutes afterward, so as not to dilute your acid. You want everything broken down thoroughly so it can be absorbed properly.

              In your place, I would keep juicing until this is sorted, and then drop to one tall glass of celery/ginger/lemon juice per day until your digestion has been excellent for 4-6 weeks.
              That corrected my low acid *and* flushed Candida flakes and tiny kidney stones out of me right before my half marathon, last spring. I wasn’t expecting the latter two things…but it all worked out.
              Literally.

              General info: Ginger root is helpful against 98% of gram negative bacteria and has some biofilm-puncturing activity due to the enzymes, so you want that to be as fresh as possible along with the horseradish, anyway.

              Another helpful trick: put 1/2 tsp activated charcoal in an empty teabag, fold over tightly, wet thoroughly, and apply directly to the urethra. Leave it there until you have to pee, rinse it, and reapply it. Replace with a fresh one every 4 hours.
              It acts like a bacteria magnet, drawing bacteria out of the lower bladder and urethra walls.
              You may feel an odd sort of vibrating/tingling sensation and have temporarily increased urine frequency and/or volume: that’s the bacteria leaving.

        I did the tea bag thing last night for about 4 hours I did have to pee consistently all night but the thing that freaked me out was the instant dark purple strip this morning even though it was less than an hour since I last peed which never happens. Usually it’s light purple until after 5 minutes. Please tell me that’s because the tea bag brought it out. If not then my infection is raging again. Also I continued to have diarrhea yesterday, the kind where you can’t make it to the bathroom fast enough. This time it wasn’t yellow though. Is that die off or normal while doing the celery,lemon,ginger or is it from the horsradish?

          The leukocytes can be a response to detox: this would be a great day to take a few large doses of charcoal! You could easily do a 2 tsp dose 2-3x today, moving that much.
          It’s die-off from the juice blend: once the microflora of the small intestine is sorted out you can drink the same amount of juice and have normal 💩. Charcoal will *greatly* speed the process.

          You may be about to see white flakes/globs/shreds in your urine, like pieces of white tissue paper. That’s what dead Candida looks like when it comes out of your kidneys. There’s often a leuks spike right before that happens.

          It’s common to be shedding some significant water weight around the waist and hips by now as well, and there should be a big upswing in energy, mental clarity, and mood after a couple large doses of charcoal.

And wait until tomorrow to start juicing again? By the way, Out of curiosity I peed in a cup but I didn’t see any white stuff yet.

    Hello. Are you familiar with gram positive diptheroids? That is what my culture shows. My dr says they are some shape of bacteria called corynebacteria. What is the protocol you suggested for this since is not e-coli?
    Tomorrow is my day last day of antibiotics and i would like to try your approach.

    Hello,
    I had a UTI 12/26/17 from a urine culture at the doctors office. The culture showed E-Coli. After an antibiotic which I usually don’t do I’m still having issues. Went back on 1/8/18 and the dip stick showed an infection but the urine culture grew nothing! I don’t have any twinge or burning but my lower back aches and my bladder hurts some. I feel like I have an urgency to go still. The 2nd dip stick test did show show some cloudy urine with some blood. I’ve been doing a lot of natural things like Uva Ursi,GoldenSeal, D-Mannose, Cranberry, Tart Cherry juice and Garlic cloves! What else I’m I missing and what else can I do! I’m at my wits ends on this. I’m in menopause so I don’t know if that helps you. I would love any advice.

    Am a newly married, and I’ve noticed that anytime I meet my husband I get yeast or viginoses infections. Now my recent dilemma is UTI I’ve had it now close to a month and it began after sex, I have read all the steps to get rid of it and even started taking garlic before I begin the big pathogen killing, but I have one fear will it affect my ability to take in or have a miscarriage if am pregnant already? Please help me the discomfort is killing me.

      Follow the protocol outlined in the Phase I post, and that will get you out of pain. Everything in it is safe to take even if you are pregnant.
      I took it all throughout an entire pregnancy and had a 9 lb, 21″ long baby girl, as healthy as a horse.
      Get the best olive leaf extract you can find: it too is perfectly safe during a pregnancy.

      Interesting..it may be that it’s yeast, but what you’ve been taking is preventing it from getting to the point of itching.
      I would drink a glass of baking soda water for a quick pH correction, and if you have a bulb syringe, I would mix the contents of 10 charcoal capsules into 6 oz water, stir for 30 seconds, and douche with it.
      It’s both antibacterial and anti-fungal, and pH neutralizing.
      Have you steeped OLE in coconut oil yet? I would do that for an overnight treatment.

        I did the first half of this today and will do the ole overnight tonight. Unlike the uti’s this has been a reoccuring problem for me for quite some time. Every single time I had my period, I would get little cuts all over my labia that would really hurt! It would take a full week after to heal up but the area would still be sensitive. I finally switched over to reusable, organic pads and a silicone cup and FINALLY stopped getting them! I concluded that I am sensitive to the chlorine and pesticide residues and whatever else are in regular disposable feminine products.
        This is the first time I’ve had this back since making that change and something in my body must have been off because if was the direct follow up to this UTI.
        On a different note I want to include a little personal testimony here about how finding your website has changed my life…
        I have been interested in alternative methods and healing with food/nutrition for quite some time now. I am really great at avoiding the doctor (drives my husband crazy) but lately I have been at a stand still. I haven’t been reading (never stop learning!), I haven’t been improving my diet (always room for improvement!) and I have been totally avoiding intense detox because I see it as a major commitment to change. When you do an intense detox, it is hard on your body and you do (even though you try not to) lose minerals and nutrients.           I’m so glad for you! I know it’s hard to make a big change, and it’s easy to get in a rut where you’re just kind of scraping by rather than really making strides to deal with something in a concrete way.
          And there’s so much information out there and so many diet/detox plans that promise to fix everything you didn’t know was wrong with you, if only you can find THESE 15 exotic and wildly expensive ingredients and blend them into disgusting smoothies every morning for 40 days! LOL

          I’m going to do a blog post soon on a post-UTI/Candida rebuild plan, to restore the gut to full health. If you don’t have L-glutamine, I would get some, and if you want to read an inspiring book on cooking simple, wholesome food, An Everlasting Meal by Tamar Adler will have you simmering stock and making your own pesto and aioli in no time. Whenever I hit a cooking slump, I re-visit it for a fresh glow of enthusiasm.

    This is where I am! All symptoms of infection gone and nitrites coming up negative but those leukocytes just won’t disappear! I read this an did extra garlic every meal for the past two days but I missed the most important part, the hefty bed time dose in the beginning. I’m just going to take so much garlic today, there’s no way anything will be left alive tomorrow. I need to see those negative results!

      You can spike your OLE doses by a capsule or two per dose, as well. Remember there’s no toxicity to it, and the 4×4 dosage is just a baseline for an average infection. If you have a strong infection deeply rooted into the walls of your bladder, it’ll take more to kill it for good.

        Well on Sunday I ate a total of 9 cloves of garlic, big ones. I spiked the ole like you suggested too. Overall, I felt like my system had done pretty well tolerating this treatment but not this time. The next day my stomach was so angry I could barely eat. I took only one dose of ole before bed because that’s all my stomach could tolerate. I am not sharing this to scare anyone off because on this final battle, I emerged victorious! Now I just have to get rid of this episode of bacterial vaginosis and I will be perfect. I am doing your coconut oil recommendation but I am not having any colored mucus, its all clear. There’s definitely something going on there however because the area is inflamed and it burns badly.

          A thought: Your reaction to garlic makes me think that your system must be way, waaaay too acidic, which is a typical sign of Candida..and BV thrives in an alkaline vaginal environment, while Candida makes it too acidic in there. If you had a pH test strip and used a cotton swab to test the vaginal pH environment, you’d have your answer in 45 seconds.
