One Shot, Two Kills: Multiple Bacterial Infection

Posted in Infection Killing Protocol, Troubleshooting, and Useful Tips

This freaks people out when it happens, but it’s surprisingly common to have more than one type of bacteria show up in a culture. And it’s often a gram negative/gram positive pair, like E. coli with Group B strep, or Enterococcus.

This is actually pretty simple to address: just keep in mind that the gram negative bacteria replicates faster and can swim to the kidneys, whereas the gram positive kinds aren’t near so virulent in the bladder.

Ergo, you go after the gram negative bacteria first. After that one has gone down under your assault you take aim on the gram positive.

Optimally, you want to use the natural meds that attack both bacteria, while keeping your pH at a level to discourage the gram negative bacteria.

(For instance, if you have E. coli + Enterococcus you’d take juiced ginger, raw garlic or horseradish, and OLE, using lemon juice to keep your urine pH alkaline, then add in ascorbic acid when E. coli is dead, dropping the lemon.)

Go to the Kill List Series category, find your bacteria, see which meds kill both/all (I’ve seen cultures that showed 3-4 bacteria in there), and take all the ones those profiles have in common.

Keep testing every morning, and when all nitrites have been gone for 3 days straight, or a new culture shows that the gram negative one is gone, drop the alkalizing lemon and start taking ascorbic acid Vitamin C to lower your pH. Keep going until your leuks are clear at the 5 minute mark for 3 days straight, then you can start tapering down. (If you’re super paranoid you can watch that test till the 10 minute mark.)

As always, you want to check your stomach acid: if it’s low you use lemon juice shots till the gram negative bacteria is dead, then switch to HCL with meals. Read the instructions in the Kill List posts carefully, and these essential tips for killing any infection.

  1. Just found your site. Can you tell me what you mean by “test daily”? what test? I would love to know what she has going on so I can get my daughters herbalist to help us kill the pathogen. She has psoriasis but I think it’s from impaired digestion of fats and proteins, liver trouble and candida overgrowth. We removed gluten, sugar, eggs and dairy and even most oils. She’s the sweetest 15 year old in the world and this is soo scary for both of us. Dermatologists act like we need to treat the skin but we’ve tried topical steroids for 2 years and it feels wrong. I’ve read thousands of hours… can’t decipher truth from fiction. I appreciate your site, trying to figure out how to incorporate some of this. I hope you’re still around answering. Sure love the info regardless and appreciate you sharing your experiences.

She’s talking about over the counter UTI test that are at drug stores and supermarkets, you pee on the stick and it tells you if you have bacteria in urine

Hi, I tried taking OLE and maybe I didn’t work it up to four slowly, I had such terrible gastric. Charcoal powder did help subside it after a while. How do I alternate OLE with oregano? I recently had recurring UTI again. I did the coconut oil with OLE bullet at the vagina and now the UTI doesn’t have crazy discomfort at the frontal area and vagina but a very sore discomfort near abdominal area. How can I fully clear out the remaining bacteria? And I do have low stomach acid too. How long do I continue with lemon water and the celery juice?I would appreciate so much for the help.

Hi there! I have a new urinary tract infection that I have been throwing everything out. Changing it up and thinking that I’m going in the right direction and then the next day I’m back to the same discomfort. The organisms that were detected for this, UTI or E. coli and strep C. Is this different than the strep an and B with regard to treatment? Thanks for any help!

    Hi,

I have been fighting severe candida for over 10 years. If something as simple as the brand of meat would change, I would get die-off.

I drank a lot of lemon juice. I have had severe diarrhea that contains golden flakes for the past several months. They gave me baking soda which put me in severe pain for 48 hours and then eventually I pooped solid for a month. The diarrhea is now back. I am also having allergies, nausea, weight loss, fever, coughing (I can barely talk), and extreme tiredness. The rashes seem to be one of the lesser symptoms this time around, though I did get some pretty big boils on my stomach, A place I never get acne.

It has been several months that I have stopped drinking lemon juice, but the symptoms still continue.

I am taking 600mg of charcoal twice a day.

    Thanks a lot

Really not sure how to handle. I’ve had UTIs and even kidney infections in the past and antibiotics have not seemed to work fully.
Now I have my right kidney burning again and antibiotics are not really helping.

Where do I get good at-home test strips to determine what type of infection I even have and are the infection-killing protocols described here good for that type of UTI rather than just a bladder infection?

Really concerned and kind of floundering.

Help help help Please! I’m leaving in the am for two weeks!
I’ve been doing everything for days. I now have no nitrites for several days. I have the lower amount but positive leukocytes . It burns hurts when I am NOT peeing. Seems reverse. During peeing fine, and normal amount, but hurts in between. Which products are the very most important to take on tiny bag on trip??
Is it possible it’s a yeast infection, since all tissues hurt tender. I am 57 so low estrogen, but just started using down there. Monistat helped last two nights, but still not good.
Bless you if you have time for a response today!

Hurts mostly up deep, yes hurts above pubic bone. Not sure if just pain and raw from tissue infection up high, or urinary. Feel waves of shaky and sweaty. Charcoal did not seem to help. Burp test passed but still do lemon and alternating ole w oregano, and combo products with those ingredients. Started Vit c. Terrified. I fly in the am.

Hello! I just came across your sites tonight (please add me to your fb page- I just clicked to join). I’ve had a chronic UTI since April ’19, & my microgen was positive for E Coli, Enterococcus faecalis, (& lactobacillus Crispatus + acidophilus-but lacto may be my error.. contamination). I was going thru the supplement page, and lost my place, but came across your post on killing my 1st 2 bacteria at the same time. The infection did go to my kidneys and I sometimes feel it’s still lurking.
I’ve been on Macrobid 200mg/ day since Jan. and started Cefdinir 600mg/day early March. I have a few more months to go, but would love to kill this off sooner! I got the infection last April, but was only given a few short rounds of antibiotics bc my cultures were negative, though there was infection under the microscope, & positive leukocytes but negative nitrites on dipsticks. I’d love more details on the dosing/program for what you recommend to take to kill both bugs. If it’s already noted, can you link me to it? Also, can you tell me if I need the horseradish and enzymes.. or can stay w/garlic instead of horseradish, as I have a weak stomach. It’s great to see someone with info like this! I saw 10 local urologists that told me nothing was wrong before traveling to LA for correct antibiotic treatment. (I love your graphics btw!)

    Hi Rebekah!

Wondering if you have heard of Citrobacter Koseri? My latest results revealed Citrobacter Koseri, Enterococcus, and E. Coli. I have been battling the Enterococcus and E. Coli for almost 2 years…assuming its in a biofilm, but now I have a new enemy….citrobacter koseri. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

Hi Angela were you able to find anything that worked for this? I’m in the same situation. Been getting worse since Dec ‘19. Regular cultures negative but microgen shows same bacteria combo as you.

    Hi hope you’re ok Rebekkah,
If Anyone has experience with Multiple Bacterial Infections i’d welcome your comments on this thread.
    I particularly need help in how to deal with this bacteria that showed up in my urine testing;
    Lactobacillus crispatus. lactobacillus crispatus/acidophilus
(i have searched scientific literature but cannot find anything much)
I have been doing the “hippocrates special ” for a few months now for my chronic UTI’s, which has relieved symptoms but not cleared it all.

I now have some additional info on my situation.

I’ve just received results from some advanced testing done at a US lab MicroGenDX (i’m in Australia), It shows i have:
E Coli (which i knew and have been trying to treat)
Lactobacillus crispatus (I have no idea what the effective natural meds would be for this)
Lactobacillus crispatus/acidophilus (ditto – I have no idea what the effective natural meds would be for this)
the split is e.coli 96%, Lactobacillus crispatus 3%

    any considered responses welcome.
    ta,
    Mel

      Also…
the e.coli is gram negative, facultative anaerobic
the Lactobacillus crispatus is gram positive, anaerobic
and the Lactobacillus crispatus/acidopholus is gram positive, anaerobic

      the test also showed:
      resistance genes detected: Quinolone.

I’ve been a frequent visitor to your site for the last year and a half. I’ve also been fighting recurring bladder infection during this time. You’re instructions have helped me time and again, especially the AC cleanse, the baking soda/garlic treatment, and wonderful OLE, among other things. But now you’re saying I should be taking HCL. I thought I was supposed to be drinking baking soda water. It’s all so complicated; I get better, then it comes back. I can’t lick this thing. Too complicated, not enough hours in the day to schedule what to take and when. (No, I don’t know what kind of pathogen I’m dealing with, nor how to find out, though the test strip comes out pink.) How are there enough waking hours to follow the regimen?

HCL with meals, if you have low stomach acid. You’ve tested for it?

The nitrites are pink, or the leuks are pink?

Hello! Does buffered vitamin C kill Gram positive bacteria as well e.g. Solgar Ester-C? Could you please add me to your FB group Live strong?

No, you need either pure ascorbic acid or camu camu whole food Vitamin C: the acidity is a vital part of killing gram positive bacteria. The cheap powdered stuff from the grocery store works like a charm. Against Staph aureus it’s a Silver Bullet, killing it singlehandedly within 2 days.
